Jamie Jurczak

Co-Director

Jamie began dance at age 3. As a teenager, she was a member of the Winnipeg Contemporary Dancers Junior Professional Program. Following high School, Jamie left Winnipeg to pursue her studies in Law and became a member of the Ottawa University Varsity Dance Team, while attending Law School.

Throughout her years of training, Jamie developed a flair for choreographing character pieces that fuse a variety of disciplines into one. Jamie has choreographed many scholarship-winning, award-winning and gold medal winning routines in jazz, tap, musical theatre, and lyrical.

Jamie continues to perform in live theatre, participating annually in productions produced jointly with the Manitoba Bar Association and Manitoba Theatre Centre. Such shows include The Producers, Cabaret, Little Shop of Horrors, Chicago and How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying.

Outside of dance, Jamie is a Lawyer at Taylor McCaffrey LLP, where she practices Labour and Employment and Workplace Health and Safety Law.
