Miss Shauna is a mix of high-energy enthusiasm and professional expertise. She believes that dance is the ultimate tool for building confident, positive people—and she’s spent her career proving it.

Shauna’s "Superstar" philosophy is backed by a powerhouse resume. After retiring from elite gymnastics, she took her passion for dance and performance to the professional sidelines of the CFL, performing and choreographing for five seasons with the Winnipeg Blue Bombers. From performing at NBA events to Grey Cup performances with icons like Nelly Furtado and the Black Eyed Peas, her career has been a whirlwind of movement.

Today, Shauna channels that same energy into her roles as an author, speaker, and entrepreneur. Her dedication to the Winnipeg dance community was recently recognized when she was named a finalist for the 2025 Woman Entrepreneur of the Year Award (WEYA).

What truly sets Shauna apart is her strong and diverse training. Along with her training in dance and gymnastics, she also holds a degree in Kinesiology, a diploma in Communications, a 200hr yoga teacher accreditation, and certification as a dance adjudicator through The Dance Leadership Institute. This fuels her approach of  teaching with a holistic, dancer-centric lens. She is even sharing her insights on passion and persistence in her debut book, Starting in First, hitting bookshelves in Spring 2026!

When she’s not at the studio or on stage, you’ll find Shauna adjudicating across the country or at home with her three adorable cats. Shauna doesn't just teach dance; she builds community and inspires everyone around her to find their own unique spotlight.
