Miss Shauna started ballet at age 10 as part of her artistic gymnastics training. After many successful years of national and international gymnastic competition, Shauna turned to dance. Her performance background includes countless performances with the CFL Blue Bombers Dance Team as well as exciting live performances at multiple NBA 3 on 3 events, and with artists like Nelly Furtado and the Black Eyed Peas.
 

Miss Shauna holds a degree in Kinesiology, a diploma in Communications, and is a certified Yoga Teacher, Reiki Practitioner, Life Coach, and works in the beauty industry as an International Beauty Guide. She’s been a business owner for over a decade has been teaching and coaching in a variety of capacities for over 25 years.

Before opening Maples Academy of Dance, Miss Shauna was a co-captain and choreographer for the Blue Bombers Dance Team (CFL Football), coach and choreographer for the University of Winnipeg and Red River College Dance Teams, and worked for many years in the gymnastics community, teaching ballet to elite gymnasts.
