Maples Academy of Dance is proud to train our studio staff in our signature training programs and are excited to offer these same specialized professional development programs to the wider dance community, bridging the gap between technical expertise and dancer-centric care.

Inspire. Lead. Dance. Our Junior Teacher Training program is a comprehensive two-year program for dedicated dancers (ages 13–15) looking to bridge the gap between student and educator. Participants dive deep into teaching theory and practical application, all while being mentored by our senior faculty. This program is designed to empower young leaders with the skills, professionalism, and passion to thrive in any dance environment.

The Teaching with Excellence programs is designed to equip dance educators needed to elevate their studio experience. Bridge the gap between technical mastery and student-centered care to strengthen your program and establish a positive, beneficial, and transformative experience for your dancers.

The Safe Steps Initiative aims to train dance educators on leadership, accountability, safe facilities and teaching practices, professional conduct, and best practices to implement for the overall growth and well-being of dancers. Moving beyond the syllabus, the Safe Steps Initiative helps create guiding principles for an environment that focuses on the safety and best interests of all dance participants.
