Shauna Jurczak and Maples Academy of Dance will be awarding 10 community scholarships to attend classes during the 2023-24 season at Maples Academy of Dance in Winnipeg.

The Time to Shine Scholarship aims to provide additional dance opportunities for dancers living in Winnipeg’s northwest and nearby neighbourhoods. On top of access to dance classes, the scholarship will connect dancers with their peers and provide mentorship, in an environment that nurtures self confidence, community involvement, and leadership.
 

Each scholarship will cover the tuition for the awarded recipient to participate in one style of dance of their choosing during the 2023-24 dance season (September 2023-June 2024). Each individual scholarship is valued at $550 CAD and is non-transferable and has no cash value.
