It’s been a wild ride to get to the 2021-22 season and through it all, we’ve shown the world that dancers are truly amazing. In light of it all, we wanted to take a moment to let you, our dancers, know how awesome you are and how excited we are to dance together again. Whether you’re a new or returning student, know you have a place to thrive and have fun as a part of our Maples dance family.
To the dancers who danced through the pandemic - way to go! You balanced in-person and online classes, learned to dance six-feet apart, in masks, and pushed through the craziness to make it to the virtual stage for recital and competitions. You did it, and we can’t wait to keep dancing with you in our new post-pandemic season.
To the dancers who took time off during the pandemic - good for you! You took time for a break, pausing to focus on yourself and your family, and dedicated yourself to school and your wellness. We can’t wait to welcome you back to dance again in our new dance season.
To the dancers who may have lost their studio during the pandemic - don’t stop dancing! You have talent and passion and your love of dance matters. We welcome you with open arms to join our dance family and are honored to have you continue your dance journey with us.
To the new, first time dancers - you can do it! You have a desire to dance, to learn, to move and to create. We’re so excited for you take your first steps into dance and become a part of the Winnipeg dance community. As you get ready to take your first classes with us, know we welcome you and are so eager to dance together this season!
As dancers, you can do anything you set your minds and hearts to, and we can’t wait to see you do amazing things in the upcoming dance season. It’s time to dance and it's your time to shine!
